HCL Tech profit stands at Rs 2,568 cr in Q4 |

Noida:Technology giant HCL Technology''s net profit came down by 1.7 per cent at Rs 2,568 crore quarter-on-quarter in the January-March period of financial year 2018-19. The software technology company has recorded the net income of Rs 2,611 crore in the last previous quarter ended on December 2018. However, the company recorded a growth of 15.3 per cent at Rs 10,123 crore YoY in the quarter ended on March 2019, the company said while announcing its financial results here on Thursday.
Last year in the same quarter of December, the company''s net income was Rs 8,780 crore. HCL president andCEO C Vijaykumar said the company''s Mode 2 delivered a handsome 14.3 per cent QoQ constant currency growth during the quarter on back of strong sequentialgrowth of 13.1 per cent in constant currency in the previous quarter. For the full year, FY 2018-19 Mode 2 grew at solid 28.7 per cent YoY CC. Mode 2 and Mode 3 together constitute 28.4 per cent at the end of FY 2019. The company''s total revenue also jumped marginally by 1.9 per cent at Rs 15,990 crore in the quarter-4 of this fiscal from Rs 15,699 crore in October-December quarter of 2018-19.
The Noida-based company has reported that its EBITDA rose by 22.1 per cent Y-o-Y at Rs 11,820 crore in the fiscal year 2018-19. Mr Vijaykumar said, "HCLites have delivered a truly blockbuster performance with a double-digit constant currency revenue growth of 11.8 per cent that outperformed the high-end of our guidance. With 28.7 per cent YoY growth in constant currency, our new Mode-2 services delivered their strongest growth." He also announced dividend of Rs 2 per share for the 65th consecutive quarter of dividend payout. Payout ratio for the fiscal year 2019 stood at 52.6 per cent.
