JSW Cement introduces high-strength Comp Cem cement in Goa
 
Panaji: JSW Cement, India''s leading producer of green cement, on Friday announced the launch of its high-strength blended cement ''Comp Cem'' in Goa at a dealers meet. The newly introduced product is a blend of clinker, ground granulated blast furnace slag and fly ash from a single source.

Speaking on the occasion of the launch, Ashish Modh, Zonal Head (West) JSW Cement Ltd, said, Comp Cem is a premium category product that offers higher compressive strength. The interground mixture of clinker, fly ash, and slag makes Comp Cem a unique product that will cater to all concrete-based construction needs. Goa is a highly attractive market for us, thanks to the ongoing growth in infrastructure and housing segments, and we expect great acceptability for the product.

JSW Cement will continue to develop solutions and products that strengthen its leadership position across markets. K Swaminathan, Chief Marketing Officer JSW Cement Ltd, said, JSW Cement continuous to grow at a rapid pace and has managed to build a healthy product portfolio. Comp Cem is our new slag variant and will enable us to expand our current distribution network and create new opportunities in the southern and western parts of India.
