Thiruvananthapuram: Two more people tested positive to Coronovirous in Kerala on Sunday while the test results of 13 patients under treatment in hospitals came as negative, Health Minister KK Shailaja Teacher said. "Till now, a total of 401 cases of Coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Kerala and 129 patients are presently under treatment in different hospitals across the State.
The total number of recovered cases is 270," the Minister further said in a statement. Out of two positive case of today''s, one person returned from Abu Dhabi to Kannur district and another came from Dubai to Kasaragod district. Out of 13 negative cases, eight patients in Kasaragod district, three in Kannur district and one each in Malappuram and Thrissur districts were recovered and discharged from hospitals, she stated.
"The number of people under surveillance across the State has further come down to 55,590. Of these, 55,129 were quarantined at their homes and 461 were isolated at hospitals. 72 persons were hospitalised today. 19,351 samples from people with symptoms have been sent for testing so far and 18,547 samples have tested negative with no infection," she added.
