Government to take action against who leaves office after punching
 
Thiruvananthapuram: Action will be taken against the employees of secretariat who leave the office during working hours after punching. A circular issued by the GAD Principal Secretary Biswanath Sinha said that it was noticed that some employees are going out during the office hours after marking the bio metric punch.

These people used to punch before 9 in the morning and leave the office. Such people will be caught with the help of CCTV visuals and harsh actions will be taken against them, read the circular.

The bio metric punching system was made compulsory to mark attendance at the secretariat from January 1, 2018. Over 1000 employees arrived late on the first day of the compulsory bio metric punching of attendance at the secretariat.
