Rahul is just a tourist politician: Amit Shah
Kozhikode: Accusing the Gandhi family of treating people as their vote bank, the Union Home Minister Amit Shaw on Saturday quipped at senior Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi, saying the latter was just a tourist politician spending time in Wayanad.

Addressing a massive rally of the BJP here on Saturday evening, the BJP veteran leader alleged that Rahul Gandhi did nothing in Amethi which he represented for 15 years before he migrated to Wayanad to make it to the Parliament.

"The Congress is playing a political gimkick in Kerala by contesting against the Communusts who are their friend and coalition partner elsewhere in the country.

The people voted Cingress to power for development but instead were neck deep in corruption and scams worth Rs 12 lakh crore, Shah alleged.

Both the LDF and the UDF who ruled Kerala alternatively have stalled the state's development and was engaged in corruption, appeasement politics and political violence, Shaw alleged.

The devotees would never pardon those who manhandled Sabarimala pilgrims and those who.fight for protecting tradition and stood against the Government who facilitated and forced women entry into the Lord Ayyapoa temple.

The NDA will change the scenario of temples. The BJP-NDA wants the temple administration to be handed over to devotees, the BJP leader added

Shah earlier addressed a election campaign rally in Sulthan Bathery in Wayanad.
