Kochi: Cochin International Airport has made all arrangements to receive repatriated Indians stranded abroad and in the first phase, ten flights carrying 2,150 ex-pats will land here in the coming days. The airport authority has released the details of the flights which will land from May seven to 13, airport sources said on Tuesday. Flight services which got approval from the government will be operated in the first phase.
More services will be operated to bring ex-pats to Kerala as and when union government approves, the sources said. In connection with the repatriation, three-phase disinfection is being carried out at the airport. Arrangements including temporary seat settings have been prepared to ensure social distancing. Mock drill related to various tests is also completed.
