Kedar Jadhav declared fit for 2019 World Cup
New Delhi: Indian middle-order batsman Kedar Jadhav has been declared fit and is set to travel with the squad to England for the upcoming 2019 World Cup. Team India will board the flight for England on May 22 and there were some doubts on Kedar''s inclusion in the World Cup squad after his shoulder injury. But, now Kedar will travel with his teammates, giving an end to all the speculations about his injury.

Earlier this month, Kedar Jadhav had injured his shoulder during an IPL match between CSK and KXIP and was forced to miss the playoffs. After the injury, Jadhav spent his time recovering with Team India physio Patrick Farhart and was declared fit in the report submitted by physio to the BCCI on Thursday. In the past also, Kedar Jadhav has been prone to injuries and missed few series as well. The CSK all-rounder missed IPL 2018 after playing just one match due to a hamstring injury. Last year, Kedar has to miss India''s tour of England and even he suffered a injury on his return to the Team India during last year''s Asia Cup in September.

Jadhav will be a key member for India at the World Cup as he provides stability to the middle-order and also picks crucial wickets for the team. He has the reputation of breaking partnerships in the middle overs with his unorthodox style of off-spin bowling. Jadhav has played 59 ODIs for India since making his debut in 2014 and scored 1174 runs at an average of 43.48 including two hundreds and five half-centuries. He has also taken 27 wickets at 34.70.
