Smile is best medicine for all: Nana Patekar
 
Pune, Smile is the best medicine for all troubles. Don’t ever tell your problems, sorrows to others but do share your joy with everyone you will be the happiest person in the world, preached actor Nana Patekar.

The critically-acclaimed actor was speaking as the Chief Guest at the ‘World Heart Day Celebration’ organised at the Symbiosis University Hospital and Research Centre here on Wednesday.

Participating in a healthy walk with the varsity’s students and staff, Mr Patekar commissioned the services of the cardiac ambulance.

He also inaugurated Symbithon 2021, a virtual walk/run event covering 51years with 51kms run/walk from the September 29 (World Heart Day) to October 10 (World Mental Health Day).

In his speech, Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, Founder and President, Symbiosis speech applauded the social work done by Naam Foundation, an NGO co-founded by the ‘Krantiveer’ actor.

Dr. Rajiv Yeravdekar, Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences, Dr Vidya Yeravdekar, Pro Chancellor, SIU, Dr Rajani Gupte, Vice Chancellor, SIU and Dr. Vijay Natarajan, CEO, Symbiosis University Hospital and Research Centre and Dr T Vijaya Sagar, Dean, SMCW were also present.
