Two killed as car plunged into well
 
Kannur: In a gruesome incident, two persons of a family were killed after their car plunged into a deep well at their house compound at Nellikunnu near Alakode in this district on Wednesday. According to police, the deceased was identified as Tharamangalam Mathukutty, and his son Basil.

Mathukutty died on the spot while Basil succumbed to his injuries at Kannur Government Medical College Hospital at Pariyaram in the evening. Basil was driving the vehicle during the incident. He lost control of the wheels and rammed into the parapet of the well.
