Vijay Deverkonda, Ananya starrer 'Liger' gets new release date
 
Mumbai, Southern sensation Vijay Deverkonda is all set to make his Bollywood debut with "Liger" opposite Bollywood starlet Ananya Panday.

The makers have set the new release date for the film on August 25, 2022. It was earlier slated to be released on November 2020, but following the pandaemic outbreak, shooting was delayed. There talks in between for a September release as well, however, that too did not materialise.


Liger, an action romantic drama revolving around a mixed-martial artist is helmed by Puri Jagannadh, the project is bankrolled by Karan Johar and Charmme Kaur. It will also feature Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, and special cameo from boxing legend Mike Tyson.

The movie will have a multi-lingual release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.


The official handle of Dharma Productions dropped the confirmation on the release date. It said, “Unleashing the beast to the nation on 25th August 2022! LigerOnAug25th2022 And catch the glimpse of our madness on 31st December.”

The makers will drop the glimpse of the movie on year-end.
