Argentina to play two friendlies against Venezueala, Czech Republic in March

(New Delhi, Jan13, 2019): Argentina will take on Venezuela in a friendly match on March 22 at the Wanda Metropolitano Madrid, Spain, which is the home of Atltico de Madrid club, followed by a match against Czech Republic on March 26 in Dresden in Germany, Argentina''s Football Federation (AFA) has announced. On Friday, AFA took to twitter to announce first friendlies of 2019 for their team.

Argentina''s star footballer Lionel Messi could return to the team for the two friendlies. Messi has not been with the Argentina squad since they fell 4-3 to the eventual-champions France at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia on June 30. On Thursday, AFC roped in Roberto Ayala, a former Argentine footballer, as Lionel Scaloni''s (Head Coach) assistant.
