New Delhi: Vijayveer Sidhu on Tuesday clinched his third gold medal in the ongoing ISSF Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany. The trio of Rajkanwar Singh Sandhu, Adarsh Singh and Vijayveer Sidhu clinched team gold in pistol event with a total of 1738 and remained ten points ahead of China. For Adarsh, it was his second gold of the competition.
The day''s second medal came in the men''s 10m Air Rifle with the trio of Hriday Hazarika, Yash Vardhan and Paarth Makhija winning the team silver with a combined score of 1877.4, which was just 0.4 less than the gold winning Chinese team''s score. China also equalled the junior world record in the process. India continued to top the medals table with seven gold, seven silver and two bronze medals.
