Kerala beat Chattisgarh by nine wickets in C K Nayudu trophy
 
Kannur: Hosts Kerala beat Chattisgarh by nine wickets in the U-23 Colonel C K Nayudu trophy four-day match held at Thalassery Cricket ground on Saturday. Resuming the overnight score of 165/4, Kerala were all out for 254 runs ( Anand Krishnan 69, Captain Vathsan Govind 45, Aswin Anand 41 and M P Sreeroop 37) in the first innings after took a lead of 114 runs as a reply to Chattisgarh''s 140 runs on the second day of the match.

For Chattisgarh Gagandeep singh and Subham Singh took four wickets each. In the second innings, Chattisgarh were all out for 130 runs (Sanjith Desai scored 42 runs). For Kerala Sijumon Joseph took 7 wickets by conceding 47 runs and Sree Hari S Nait scalps two wickets. Brief Score:- Chattisgarh first innings 140, Second innings 130, Kerala first innings 254 runs, Second innings 16/1.
