Top seeds in boys and girls sections enter summit clash in ISTA Squash tourney
 
Chennai, It was a good day for the seeded players with
all the higher-ranked players winning their matches and entering the
summit clash in the ISTA Junior Open Squash tournament here today.
Only two matches went the distance in the girls under 13 category and
in the boys under 17 category.
In the boys under 17, Rohan Arya Gondi [2] defeated Shaurya Bawa [3/4],
clawing his way back from 1-2 games down, and ISTA trainee Yaavnaa
Saravanakumar [5/8] losing to Vyomika Khandelwal [1] in a nail-biting
encounter.
The girls' finals in the under 17 category will see ISTA trainees Pooja Arthi
and Akshaya Sri S competing against each other.
