Bhopal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Wednesday that Madhya Pradesh is the pride of India when it comes to pace of scheme implementation and a desire for achieving development.
"Whenever a scheme is launched, work takes place round the clock at the ground level also in this state. I feel extremely happy. Madhya Pradesh, which is a pioneer in digital records, worked rapidly in the context of the SVAMITVA Scheme as well and I am confident that all rural families will eventually benefit under the programme. I congratulate all those who are working to achieve the objective. When I assumed the post of Gurjarat Chief Minister, my first major programme related to poverty alleviation," he said while launching the SVAMITVA Scheme in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday.
Joining the event via videoconferencing from New Delhi, Mr Modi electronically distributed 1.71 lakh e-property cards to residents of about 3,000 villages in 19 districts.
