Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala reported 131 new active cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday while 75 infected people have recovered and total 2,112 patients are under treatment in various districts, Health Minister KK Shailaja Teacher said. In a press release here this evening, the Minister also confirmed the COVID death of a 76-year-old person, who reached here from Mumbai on June 27.
She said, "1,84,657 people are totally under observation across the state, 1,81,876 at their homes or institutional quarantine centres and 2,781 isolated in hospitals. 330 persons were admitted hospitalised today." She said, "32 people from Malappuram district, 26 in Kannur, 17 from Palakkad, 12 in Kollam, 10 from Ernakulam, nine in Alappuzha, eight from Kasargod district five in Thiruvananthapuram district, four each from Thrissur and Kozhikode, three in Kottayam and one from Pathanamthitta district are those who tested positive with the virus."
