Vote us to power, we will pilot NYAY in Kerala: Rahul Gandhi
 
Wayanad: Senior Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi on Thursday reiterated that the NYAY (Nyuntam Aay Yojana) scheme promised by the UDF will have its deep rooted impact in changing the lives of the common man for the better.

He said this while addressing the UDF workers who paraded in the election campaign rally of UDF candidates in the district on Thursday. He participated road shows in Mananthavady and Sulthan Bathery before addressing a public meeting in Kalpetta.

NYAY scheme was a proposed social welfare program by the Indian National Congress in its 2019 general election manifesto.

Accusing the NDA Government of helping big corporates, the Congress leader said the Congress is committed to empower the underprivileged in the country. " Its not the affluent who will transform the economy but it would be the poor people who would build up a prosperous India", Rahul Gandhi said.

Not only that funds do not flow into the hands of poor farmers, the Central Government is trying to destroy the farming community by introducing the three farm bills.

"We could facilitate lots of infrastructure like medical college and alike for the district only if we have our Government in the State. That's why I appeal to you to vote for our candidates", Rahul Gandhi added.
