thiruvananthapuram: Kerala reported 5,427 fresh cases and 14,334 recoveries from the infection on Sunday.Test Positivity Rate is at 11.03% after 49,183 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
Kerala's COVID-19 related death toll reached 64,145, after 9 recent deaths and 83 previously undocumented fatalities were made official by the health department.
Of the fresh cases, 5,023 had contracted the virus through contacts while the source of infection in 338 remains unknown and 37 healthcare workers were infected on the day.The number of active cases in Kerala has dropped to 66,018 with 6 per cent of them in hospitals.
